I wanted to keep a diary of my ACL surgery, as well as my recovery and rehabilitation to help others while they are going through the same thing.
When I found out that I was going to have ACL surgery, I was looking for a diary to judge my progress against, and couldn't find one. I hope that this helps you.

Hi Karen, I am an avid usta tennis player and just tore my ACL on Saturday. Would it be possible to email you for info about an ACL injury? I have never had a major injury until now.
Sure, leave your email address and I will contact you.

So you torn your ACL in the opposite leg? There is a high incidence that if you tear your ACL in one leg you will likely tear the one in opposite leg due to favoring of the normal acl leg.
I don't believe it was due to favoring the normal ACL leg. Actually, my orthopedic said that my bone structure was small and the opening that my ACL went through was really small. Tearing my ACL based on my workout intensity was bound to happen.
Hi Karen. How are you recently after your 2nd surgery? Do you think I can email you since I'm facing a similar situation?
Hi Karen, my daughter ago is 13 recently had acl recon, she is 8 weeks post op now. She was also a tennis player. Could you share any advise or recommendations on exercises for tennis?
